Ami our guide was very attentive and helped us navigate the persistent deer. We had a lot of fun bowing at the deer and weee absolutely blown away by the sacred sites, seeing a traditional home, a beautiful garden, a sweet shop and a lovely forest. Thank you Ami for showing my daughter the calligraphy books and for being wonderful company.

Our guide, Towa, and his team were fantastic. They went out of their way to cater the day to meet our interests. Our travel was very smooth and comfortable. It was a wonderful way to explore such a unique historic site and to explore some local venues we may have otherwise missed. We would highly recommend the tour with Towa and his team.

Ami was an excellent guide and guided us through all the top spots with lots of local knowledge to avoid crowds and see sides of Nara we didn't even imagine. Taito, our driver was courteous and efficient. On our way back to our hotel deop-off in Osaka, Ami shared lots of amazing food and location recommendations that we'll be exploring with our remaining time in Osaka. Highly recommend!

Ami was the best guide that we had during our entire Japan trip. She is very knowledgeable and shares a lot of insights with you. Our private day trip to Nara was the highlight of our 8-day trip to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto! We traveled with our 18 year old son and he also really enjoyed the day. Nara is such a beautiful city full of the most amazing deer! Our guide Ami and the driver were great. Ami planned a perfect day with shrines/temples, deer parks, an amazing hot pot lunch (which recognized a special occasion) and ended with a short walk to a look out of the town of Nara. I highly recommend this experience. It was nice to have a day away from the big cities. We even had time to get some locally made items to take home. Nara is a must see spot and Ami made the day so easy and enjoyable!

Our family with three kids of various ages traveled to Nara with Ami as our tour guide and Sori as our driver. Ami went above and beyond and provided impeccable experience taking time to understand what kind of focus we want our tour to be during our drive to Nara so she can tailor the tour to suite our needs. She was spot-on the amount of details of each places of interest we went to and was also able to accommodate some additional places we requested. Most of all, it was the little things that she did that impressed us… helping us order our lunch in what seems to be a confusing menu, offering ways to cool our kids down on a extremely hot days, providing some temporary help with bags when our hands was full, taking great pictures and even creating a video collage of our tour. This Nara tour with Ami is highly recommended.

Excellent tour & tour guide (Ami). This tour exceeded my expectations on so many levels. Ami is smart, knowledgeable and attentive. She has a genuine interest in overseas visitors and shared her experiences growing up in Kyoto. As an older tourist, I appreciate her asking how much walking I can do, including steps. (We asked how high are the steps). She took photos & videos of us feeding the deer & visiting various temples, parks & a mountain top. Ami asked about our lunch preferences & we had a really nice Japanese hot pot style lunch at a 9 seat restaurant. When Ami learned of our interest in the Imperial Family, she took us to The Nara Hotel, where various royalty and famous people have stayed since 1909. This includes Einstein, playing the piano. We enjoyed our tea & walking the galleries with historic photos., instead of spending our time shopping, Thank you Ami. We wish you well.

Ami our tour guide is very knowledgeable about Nara/Osaka tour. She made sure that we are comfortable during the heat wave . Our transportation is very pleasant. The driver was great. We had the best lunch in Nara. We went to the Deer park, Shrine, market, the Japanese house tour. Our tour with Ami was the best tour in our 2 was trip to Japan. This was such a great experience to travel to Nara with Ami! It was so convenient to get picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel in Kyoto. Definitely worth it after a week of 15k+ steps per day! Ami was a great guide and it was really nice to have our own driver too. We got to spend so much time at the hidden gems she took us to in between sightseeing stops because we didn’t have to spend extra minutes walking between the sites, it was just quick pick ups and drop offs. Ami was so cute and considerate and really made our day in Nara so special. She took tons of pictures of us together and even stitched together the CUTEST video of our day that we will cherish!

What a beautiful day! Ami is lovely and knowledgeable. She made the day memorable and my boys loved it! We all did! We had a downpour so couldn’t go to one of the sites but she made up for it by taking us to get mochi, do a sake tasting and then to a tea house to watch matcha being prepared.

The team confirmed all the details with me in advance and even offered to customize the itinerary. I requested a stop at a local ramen shop, and they took us to a fantastic hidden gem! Nara was so incredible. A mix of traditional Japanese culture with nature in the comfort of your own private vehicle. Traveling with children, this was the only way I could imagine doing this trip. It is not far from Kyoto, only about an hour drive but Kyoto has a lot of traffic. The Nara deer Park was extraordinary. There are countless deer literally everywhere. And yes, they do bow to you. Not a full genuflect, but their heads certainly move up and down, no doubt from years of conditioning but endearing none the less. The Nara hotel is certainly a must see. It has A long rich history of dignitaries and royals who have visited this place-it is a hidden gem and should definitely be visited. Tea, champagne and sweets were had while we enjoyed the beautiful view of the gardens. We saw the most beautiful shines and temples as well. Our guide Ami was lovely. An Osaka native, she knew the area well. She was so wonderful with our kids too. Made sure our 9 year old daughter had plenty of crackers for the deer too! She not only ensured we had an authentic lunch experience- she even helped with dinner reservations. She really was so sweet and personable. We really feel that the the tour was perfect! We let Ami guide us but image was happy to accommodate us how ever we wanted. At the end of our trip, she put together a little video for us of the day as well. It was such a nice and thoughtful touch. Five ⭐️’s all around.

Our Guide Ami was amazing. She knew all the secret stops and showed us many less crowded spots after seeing the typical major over-crowed sights. The Shabu-Shabu restaurant she took us for lunch was amazing. She also showed us some unique ancient Linen shop and Mochi shop in local shopping district. But the highlight of the trip was the top of Mt.Wakakusa where we saw a beautiful sunset over the city of Nara while we were feeding and playing with the Shika Deer. There were only about 10 people up there - truly as secret spot. We took some amazing pictures. We highly recommend this tour with Ami.

Our trip to Nara was very enjoyable thanks to Hikaru our guide and her driver. Hillary tailored the itinerary and paced it to suit us. She had lots of interesting information about the various sights and her friendly helpful manner set a nice relaxed tone for the day. Her recommendation for cafe and lunch were perfect having asked us our food preferences the evening before.- a prime example of her organisational skills. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and I would definitely recommend this tour , with Hikaru as your guide.

Nara is an amazing place to visit for a day trip from Osaka. It certainly was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. Ami was a wonderful guide and had so many great ideas and options for our mixed group- she was very happy to work with our schedule our likes and dislikes. This tour was by far one of the best we had during our Japan trip. Our guide Ami made our experience visiting Nara incredible, she is very knowledgeable and knew the history behind the places we were taken to. We could really tell she was prepared for the tour. Apart from guiding us she took us to one or the best Japanese beef restaurants we have ever tried along with a unique tea shop. Id you asked me I would 100% tell you to hire Ami to be your guide if you want to have an unforgettable experience when visiting Nara or other places in Japan.

Our tour guide Ami went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing time. She worked with us to book events according to our interest. We went strawberry picking where we had the most delicious strawberries we ever had. The sites in Nara were breathtaking, and they will leave memories we will never forget. 5 out of 5 would easily recommend!

Seeing the bowing deer all around Nara was a treat, and the many, many shrines and temples were so impressive.
